The <a title=\"Church (building)\" href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%89glise_%28%C3%A9difice%29\">churches<\/a> and <a title=\"Abbey\" href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abbaye\">monasteries<\/a> have an obituary, i.e. a register in which the names of benefactors, abbots, monks (nuns) and other people associated with the life of the abbey are recorded on the day of their death.
